Beautiful spacious warm mountain home in a forest setting, the only home on a cul de sac. 2,000 square ft. two-story home with separate Guest House entrance on another level.   Step out the front door to hiking, mountain biking, creek trails, winter sledding and cross country skiing. This property is newly remodeled inside, and features high ceilings and windows, great room with gas fireplace, dining room, and open kitchen with bar seating for five and table seating for eight. In addition to the private bedrooms there is a sleeping loft with double bed, a finished attic with tv/video/games and sleeping space. The Guest House features a second kitchen, family room, bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. This is a beautiful A framed family mountain home. There are toys, books, games to enjoy. There are several sets of stairs when considering babies and elder family members. You may want to bring baby gates. Locks for cupboards. The finished attic is enjoyed by young and old alike, please supervise your children for safety.

 

The deck with forest views is wonderful for outdoor meals and other social gatherings. Relax in the large hot tub looking out to the sledding hill behind the property.  Wildlife can often be seen while relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub. Lake views will be seen while hiking behind the house toward Heavenly Valley or in the neighborhood on High Meadows Road.

There is access out the door to a forest setting so you do not have to leave the property to enjoy cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, snowmobiling etc. Heavenly Valley Ski Area California Lodge 5 minutes, Sierra Ski Ranch is 30 minutes, Kirkwood Mountain Ski area 40 minutes. Beaches, Casinos, Entertainment and Shopping are all within a ten minutes’ drive away. We have a guest house complete with a second kitchen, hot tub overlooking the forest, sledding hill right behind the house, deck with picnic tables and bear and coyote viewing.
